Hello, first of all i would like to congratulate you and thank you for making this, it is great. also i was wondering if you could give me some advice, i have to make an expressive piece of work for my coursework, i was wondering if you could recommend any films to watch to inspire me? also what was the name of the track used in your short film? thank you for your time.

Hey Nathan, the audio actually isn’t looping and it does build and evolve, do you not think? Thanks though for checking it out!

That audio is a little too short to be looped like that (if it’s not actually looping this will be embarassing). A longer audio track will make the looping less noticeable. Maybe throw in some kind of a build to the music at some point. Not so much that it upsets the feeling of the film, but just enough that it keeps the score evolving throughout the piece. Really nice visuals man, as always. I like the long still shots, this piece is packed with emotion.

Thanks, I’m really happy with it and am really happy you guys seem to agree that the music does add something to the piece as a whole without detracting from the original’s strength… @ Rishi yep thats Trajan ;)

I always found Left Unsaid a strong powerful piece that made me reminisce of the past and think about the future. The new audio really adds to it. I’m glad it worked out this way, that you just had the original version with just the voice-over, because if the audio was added from the get go, others might not been able really to appreciate the context of the voice-over.

Love it! At first I thought the voice over was too strong in the beginning compared to the music but it really grew well. The music gives the piece a whole other tone! I thoroughly enjoyed it

Great cut!

P.S. Is that Trajan at the end?

I had to watch the first cut to compare. I definitely like the added soundtrack. Actually I just bought that album from iTunes so thanks for sharing that.

I think the Ólafur track adds a very subtle emotional punch to the piece.
