Finally… OFFF Lisbon titles

Following the Devoid of Yesterday talk and title sequence at OFFF New York myself and Chris were invited to again both speak and present a new title sequence for the Lisbon event in May 2008. Rather than just repeat the previous titles we decided to shoot various sea life in a studio using macro lenses to act as a metaphor for the conference both taking place in Portugal and to have a closer look at the speakers and their way of thinking. Shot over a day and finalised over an eternity with audio by Ben Lukas Boysen. Special thanks to Charles Lee for helping out with the shoot!

It’s amazing how you guys were able to interpret your concept using lobsters and fish as your elements. That’s the mark of a true artist, because who would of ever thought of using seafood as an intro for a design conference? I seriously think that only you guys could have pulled this off.

What video camera do you shoot with Rob? I gather that you use a 35mm adapter that you were using macro lenses?

This is truly a fantastic work. I’m spechless, the images are visceral yet soothing, agressive yet smooth.

Magnificient work with the visuals and, of course, the audio which is magical and complements the imagery.

May we know some details of the camera?
