My good friend Robin Goode has been living in Torino Italy for the past few years working with his company Kut Comm. The time has come though for him to return to his South African roots and what better way to do it than to get Ducati Motorbike sponsorship and plan an eight month road trip taking him from Torino to Capetown via places such as Sarajevo – Istanbul – Damascus – Cairo – Ethiopia – Rwanda – Zimbabwe to name just a few! Next week I fly to NYC to speak at the OFFF conference in New York alongside my Devoid partner in crime Dstrukt. We are also currently working on the title sequence for the event which we shot earlier this month in Manhattan and Brooklyn so are quite amped about it! I am also speaking at the Flash on the Beach conference in Brighton UK a couple of days later so if you’re down that side of the UK maybe see you there! The above image is from my contribution to both the OFFF catalog and the FOTB book and postcards which will be available at the conferences! More news on the OFFF titles soon!

Making use of the Flangr application that uses Flickr accounts as a database to display photographs and images and created exclusively by one of the most talented typographers and designers I know.. Just got back from New York City for the fourth time this year! OFFF have asked myself and Chris to both speak at the conference as Devoid of Yesterday (even though we are listed separately on the OFFF site) and have also been invited to create the title sequence for the conference hence the trip back over the pond to get some footage/photographs! Big thanks to Heather and Ashley and all at DK for the use of the apartment and the usual warm welcome! Big shouts to Jojo Mu, Matt Lambert and Yves!
