Truths

Finally… I’ve been working on this project as the lead 2D Art Director for over 6 months including R+D time and conceptual stages! The project has involved D200 shoots, Green screen shoots, Rotoscoping, illustrations, 2.5D environments, the list goes on! Been a crazy mad one but a valuable experience… So at last some of the results are to be screened this week, Thursday 11th January on BBC2 (UK) at 9pm and for the following 5 weeks… The programme is “The Truth about Food”… check it out if you are in front of the box tonight. Unfortunately my title sequence design didn’t get the green light but you can check it out here… (music by Hecq)

Looks great! hope you can show us soon! I really want to see it.
for the title sequence, the type looks great! and overall animation is quite good. Only, I am kind of aware for 40 seconds plus it can get a little bit boring.
Also, I am just wondering why you makes the effects like that?(fruit slices). It remains me of the structure of DNA and is that really true Banana as an aphrodisiac? I know potatoes, tomatoes, and oyster have some on it.
But again, its quite good :) I love the music too :)

Thanks everyone… Rio - the idea behind the piece came out of DNA and opening up food to take a deeper look inside.. the actual words in the typography are not all correct as this was just a concept stage never taken any further than this first draft and yeah its true its probably waaaay too long for a tv intro sequence for a program about food… probably one of the reasons it was never given the go a head! ;) Thanx!

Thanks Rob for the explanation! If you decide to cut it into 30 - 35 seconds, I think it will be great ;)
hope to see the programme on your site soon
